"The ShaWombmyn"

T. Luna Imhotep aka The  Shawombmyn, is a lover, Birth SISTAH, advocate, and educator. She holds a BA and Master's Degrees in the areas of Religion and Theological studies, and is Certified both Nationally and Internationally in multiple Holistic Naturopathic modalities. Her focus has been channeled into her work as a Global Maternal and Infant Health Specialist and Student Traditional Midwombmyn, as she serves Black Birthing families in the U.S. and Abroad. She is a student, scholar and Keeper of Indigenous Knowledge Systems, which fuels her mission and work in the World. T. Luna currently holds positions as the CEO and Founder of Asase Ye Duru Health & Wellness/Fruits of Mother Earth Sacred Birth Support, Curator of Culture & Experience with Equity Before Birth Training Supervisor with The Holistic Doula Institute in Ghana, West Africa/ Trainer in Naturopathy with A Life of Peace Wellness Institute and serves as the Founding Educational Director of Motherland Birth Collective. 
In her free time she loves to spend time her Divine Partner and SweetBaby, video chat loved ones and furbabies- and of course Read.

Sarah Boateng

"The Global Midwife"

Sarah Nkansah Boateng, affectionately known as The Global Midwife, is a midwife, advocate, and the heart behind TTYM Global (talk to your midwife) a social enterprise leveraging on technology and affordable innovations to solve sexual and reproductive health and maternal health issues in Ghana. Inspired by the challenges she’s witnessed firsthand in her years as a midwife, Sarah founded TTYM Global to make maternal health and reproductive health education and services more accessible.
Through TTYM Global, Sarah combines innovation with compassion. Their mobile app helps women track their menstrual cycles and pregnancies, book consultations, and access a wealth of information on SRH, all from the palm of their hand. The Point-of-Care service takes healthcare directly to women at the marketplace, ensuring no woman is left behind. To further support safe deliveries, TTYM Global provides emergency maternity kits packed with essentials.
For the past two years, Sarah has also hosted the Talk to Your Midwife radio show, where she shares life-saving reproductive health information with her listeners. Recognized as one of Ghana’s 100 Most Inspiring Young Changemakers, Sarah believes every woman deserves the chance to thrive, no matter where she lives or works. She believes that women are the driving force of every economy therefore they need to be well in order to do well.

Nakia Thornton

Nonkululeko Shibula is a highly qualified and compassionate professional with a diverse background in maternal and child health. As a certified doula, culturalist, and the founder of Umzanyana Birth Services, a nonprofit organization based in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa, she provides comprehensive childbirth education and perinatal bereavement support to families in need. Shibula’s expertise encompasses extensive knowledge of prenatal care, and she contributes her insights as a freelance writer for parenting magazines.

As a bereavement facilitator, she offers empathetic support to families who have experienced the loss of a child. Drawing from her personal experience with stillbirth, Miss Shibula is uniquely positioned to create a safe and supportive environment for grieving families.

In addition to her work with Umzanyana Birth Services, Ms. Shibula holds several notable positions:
Board member of the International Stillbirth Alliance
Keynote Speaker and award-winning parent's voice advocate.

Nakia Thornton is a passionate and experienced breastfeeding peer counselor, as well as a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), who has garnered an impressive six years of personal experience with breastfeeding. At present, she is exclusively breastfeeding for the third time, successfully embracing the challenges and joys that come with this important journey. Her dedication is primarily focused on offering comprehensive education, advocacy, and unwavering support to breastfeeding mothers. For Nakia, this work isn't ordinary; she views it as a sacred mission and a profound act of empowerment and liberation, not for herself but also for the mothers she guides and supports in their breastfeeding journeys.
